Dolphins Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

While Bills fans are up in arms over their beloved team from frigid upstate New York surrendering a home game to the cozy confines of the Rogers Centre in Toronto to the warm-blooded Dolphins, coach Tony Sparano is trying to downplay Miami's perceived advantage.

"This team is made up of many different players and a lot of these guys are veteran players that have played in those elements before. Some of these college guys have played in those type of situations. God, our kicker (Dan Carpenter) came from Montana, so they're used to playing in this. The game is a big enough game in which wherever it was, I would hope that the elements wouldn't have been a factor one way or the other," Sparano said.

Williams fondly remembers season in Toronto (AP)

Ricky Williams' long, strange trip included a one-season stop in Toronto, where he rediscovered the fun in football and revived his roller coaster career. He played for the Argonauts of the CFL in 2006 and remembers 4 1/2 -hour workdays, friendly people and a homeopathic shop near his downtown residence.

Ex-Bills QB Kelly against Toronto game (AP)

If Jim Kelly had his way, the Miami Dolphins would always have to deal with wintry conditions when they traveled to play the Buffalo Bills. That's why Kelly, who quarterbacked the Bills to four consecutive Super Bowl defeats, isn't happy that the Bills won't have the cold weather to help them when they face archrival Miami under the roof at Toronto's Rogers Centre this weekend.

Dolphins Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

Despite winning an "ugly" game over the Rams Sunday, Dolphins coach Tony Sparano was in no mood to smile after getting the grim news that left guard Justin Smiley was done for the season with a broken right leg.

After going through their first 10 games virtually untouched by injuries, the Dolphins have lost two starters in two weeks, including the season-ending knee injury sustained by blossoming receiver Greg Camarillo in the loss against the Patriots.

But Smiley's loss may be tougher to overcome. Sparano moved over first-year starter Ike Ndukwe from right guard to the left side, while inserting inexperienced Andy Alleman in Ndukwe's spot. Earlier last week, the Dolphins signed veteran offensive lineman Al Johnson to provide depth because of the ankle injury sustained...

Dolphins mull playoff possibilities after win (AP)

For the Miami Dolphins, the improbable has become awfully hard to ignore. The Dolphins, who set a dismal franchise record by going 1-15 last season and haven't reached the postseason since 2001, are now toying with the possibility of a playoff appearance. Up next for Miami is division-rival Buffalo (6-6), though coach Tony Sparano said it is getting tougher for his team to not think beyond Sunday.
